I am a rural futurist, development worker, community builder, and politician. As the founder and CEO of Okere City, my mission is to implement a radical development plan to build the first sustainable rural city in Uganda. Okere City envisions a sustainable and thriving rural community empowered through art, education, and improved livelihoods. ​

Before founding Okere City, I worked with international and national development organizations, and the government of Uganda as a public servant. I was a senior secretary at Makerere University, a governance expert with the Konrad-Adenauer-Stiftung, and a project coordinator at War Child UK, VEDCO, the Centre for Social Research, RISE-UP Urban Refugees Project. 

I am an African Visionary Fellow and a recipient of the 2026 Segal Family Foundation System Innovator Award. I am also an Ashoka Visionary Fellow, a Rotary Vocational Service Recipient, a YALI RLC Fellow, and a PfAL Fellow at the London School of Economics, where I completed a Master of Science in Development Management degree. In 2023 and 2024, I was Fulbright Humphrey H. Hubert Fellow at Cornell University. In 2023, I was recognized by my alma mater Makerere University where I trained in community development, as an outstanding alumnus.
